RESEARCH OF THE DEFORMATION ZONE ON STEPWISE MOLDING PRESS IN CONDITIONS OF JSC “CHEREPOVETS PIPE-ROLLING PLANT”

Abstract
The authors developed the calculation method, which allows to determine the relation between the contact and non-contact areas for the deformation zone on stepwise molding press (FFS). Experimentally tested ratio of straight and curved sections of proximity zones of deformation. Two variants of histograms describe the results of calculation for the double radial circuits and profile with three radiuses blank in the outbreak strain with the permissible amount of reduction.
