TECHNICAL RE-VERTICAL CHAMBER FURNACES FOR HEAT TREATMENT OF LARGE FORGINGS

Abstract

Uralmashzavod is used as basis to assess technical re-equipment of chamber vertical heat-treatment furnace with applying modern technologies of furnace-building and modern materials. The calculation of thermal balances and furnace primary performance characteristics was made before and after re-equipment. Significant improvement of furnace performance characteristics after technical re-equipment was confirmed.
