Схема доменная печь – кислородный конвертер по прогнозам остается основной технологией выплавки стали, уступая ведущую роль выплавке стали в электропечах, начиная с 60-х годов XXI века. Прогнозируется развитие водородной металлургии и появление промышленной технологии микробиологической ферментации металлургических газов с получением из них этанола и других химических продуктов.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>At the European congress held on September 12-14, 2016 in Linz major attention was given to the prospects of iron metallurgy development. The fl ow “blast furnace – basic oxygen furnace” is expected to remain the main steelmaking process giving way to steelmaking in electrical furnaces starting from 1960s.
